Did today's wod in Rocky Point. I used a 55lb dumbell and marked off the 400 with my gps. It was hot, windy, and hot.

Stopped into CrossFit CenterMASS today for there WOD. They run their box using an open gym format, but I was able to jump in with a competitive group of guys/gals for the WOD.
"Official" CrossFit Warmup, then 3sets of 5 rep max Deadlift, then AMRAP 5 pullups/10 pushups/15 boxjumps
I finished the deads at 295 focusing on integrity of movement and strict form, then completed 9 rounds 5 pullups + 7 pushups on the WOD. Felt great to get in a WOD and "talk shop" with a welcoming community here in my home state!

uh yeah, Mike posted under me.. I did do the workout...DID NOT use a 55lb barbell...used a 30lb sandbag until it broke!! then i did pushups instead. Hated the run, but have to admit running with an ocean-breeze blowing on you is much better then the comcast-smokers blowing on you! Headed to beach now to enjoy the sunset.. cya tomorrow

Main site WOD today... 21-18-15-12-9-6-3 front squats and GHDs (I opted for the Abmat sit-ups instead). Weight was less than I thought it was, but I was in this more for form, less for weight. Only 25# for the squats, but after yesterday's Karen, I was happy with the smaller weight. Time was in the 12 minute range... can't remember exactly what it was.
My big lesson... form, form, form, and more form! There were some UGLY squats done today. Lesson learned by watching others. :)
My thighs can FEEL the days off from CrossFit.

That was a good, fast workout! Finished Rx'd in 12:14. Feels good to get back in the gym and work out. Did some hiking and mountain bike riding at 10,000 feet in Telluride, but it's just not the same as a CrossFit wod! Greg did a great job coaching tonight...thanks!

Great 4:15 and 6:30 classes today. Everyone worked hard on a fun WOD. Did it alone earlier at 13:30 using 40 lbs.
Tony count down at 59 days.

Great job last night Greg and fun workout. Did unbroken last set of KB at 26# and finished in 20:04. Drat that run!!

Great quick intense wod, wish I did not have to share one KB with 4 other guys. At least it pushed me to get done with the air squats so I could get the KB first.
