Did my own version of CFE's 2mile TT. Did the 2 miles, rode it out to an even 20min which was about 2.63 miles. Then for the last 6 minutes...cranked the incline up all the way with a fast paced walk and imagined the hills in Aromas!

Got a rip on my hand on pullup #78 this morning. Any suggestions for how to help it heal faster? Fun WOD today!

Susan, keep it moist and covered with vaseline. Neosporin is ok too but some people have contact allergies to neosporin. Vaseline is just fine. Also Vit E gel capsules are good to rub in the area. Just snip an end of the capsule and squeeze the gel onto the area. Hope that helps!

Alright! Back in the gym for me finally! Pikes Peak CrossFit is a neat little place... emphasis on the little. :) Only about 8 people per class, but Carol, the 4:30 class coach was great! People were really welcoming and supportive--much like my CFNWT peeps! One of the co-owners, Art, was there working out as well.
So the PPCFers (lol) are .com followers, so today we did Karen. Was kinda looking forward to it until I realized the smallest weight wall ball they have is 12#. I was nervous, but did manage to get all 150 reps in 12:04 minutes. Form was for crap, but got it done! Finished up just in time for a nice thunderstorm to drench us!
JEN M! Received my Phiten necklace last Friday. LOVE IT! It's pretty cool lookin' too. Thanks for the info on it!
Mom's surgery to reconstruct her thumb went well. She's got a cast up to her elbow and is kinda loopy on the Percocet, but all is well! She's even enjoying the Paleo cooking!

Muscle ups, rxd 23:46. Robert S. time of 12:32 is amazing. I got the first 7 done in 2 minutes and then it was a struggle to finish. It's crazy how fast your arms go away.
Brian took the top of the leader board with a great 1:26.7 500 meter row. Great job everyone!
60 days and we will have Tony do the 30 muscle ups!!

So, muscle up progressions...can't remember my time but think it was 22:37? 22:33? I'm not exactly sure. Just know it was in the minute of the 22. That was seriously hard! Tried to hit a muscle up every 30 seconds but after the 16th, I had to take it down to 45 seconds. (Give or take some here and there...especially the one where I let out the momma lion roar!...so embarrassing)
Very happy about my baseline time though! Shaved 6 seconds off my time which means I now have a sub 5 minute baseline!! Yea baby!
Hey listen all you wonderful hotties...I'll see you next week! I already miss my girls...which means, you guys are all next. That will probably sink in tomorrow as I watch the posts pop up and think about who was in each class...Anyways...wish me luck as a judge...I'm nervous as hell! Hugs and smooches to you all! (Feel free to send me text love or facebook love as I don't want to be on Every Second Counts 2 as the big cry baby judge...I'm hoping I leave that Jennifer at home...)
