Hey everyone! Just checking in. We had a nice drive out yesterday. We made it in right around 12 hours. There are so many fruit fields and fruit stands all over the place so today or tomorrow we are going to get some freshly picked strawberries and nectarines...oooo yum. And the garlic fields are everywhere. I guess I won't be finding Edward out here...hahaha. And the weather is like in the 80's!!
We are getting ready to go to the Level 2 Test. Then, we're going to hit my favorite store...LULU!! and then we're going to come back to Kevin's cousin's house and put them through a workout!

FYI, great 9:00am class. Everyone worked very hard and kept good technic.

Glad to hear that you guys made it safe. Have fun at the level 2 test, you should pick up a lot of valuable info.

Hey everyone! Milestone for me today... tore skin for the first time today. Not 100% sure how I feel about that, kinda excited, kinda dreading the pain to come after the endorphins wear off from the WOD. :)
Scaled Nate today: AMRAP of 6 pull-ups/6 dips, 4 handstand push-ups on the box and 8 KB swings (18#). Did 10 rounds, just barely squeaking out the last KB swing before time was called. Most pathetic sounding "round" I think I've ever had.
Figure I tore the skin on my thumb somewhere around the pull-ups. Why oh why did I decide to do 30 pull-ups before the workout? Oh yeah, now I remember, that Fran biz-atch.

Glad to hear you made it in safely. Hopefully I won't get electrocuted by the storm outside while I write this! Awesome workout today. Can someone tell me what my time was? I forgot to write it down. Greg, you're a great instructor! The gym is in VERY good hands!
Kare, you're a machine!!! I barely did it with 55lbs--you did it prescribed!!!

5:30 & 6:30 classes had the treat of a wonder rain. Kevin, that was one hard but fun WOD.

Showed up at the 5:30 class today for first time, dang thats early! (and it didn't even seem much cooler)
did WOD as Rx'd in 20:something. I definitly could work on my shoulder strength, last few pushpresses in 2nd half were toughest.

Awesome WOD today! Used light weight (22lbs bar)...so increased reps to 5-7-9 for the 10 rounds. Felt REALLY good! Also jogged 800 meters after finishing the WOD.
Jennifer and Kevin...hope you guys are having a GREAT time! Glad you made it to Aromas safely..look forward to the updates.

Greg caught my rounded back and quickly corrected that! Thanks Buddy. Finished in 14 something (I think - gotta get better at remembering that). Used 43 lbs maybe could have done more since my sets were unbroken. Very sweaty! Jenn M. GREAT job! Thanks for the 'view'.

Completed in 14:35 with 33#. Great job 5:30 class and thanks for the encouragement Greg! I never know what weight to use and I think my form won out today. My shoulders were hot hot hot! Nice run in the rain with Cecy:)
